Ingredients:
- 500 g sugar
- 260 ml milk
- 4 eggs
- 200 ml veg. oil
- 460 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 lemon zest
- vanilla extract
Optional: 2 tsp cacao
Method:
- Beat the eggs with sugar until it doubles in volume.
- Add all the liquid ingredients and mix
- Sift the flour and baking powder then add to mixture then combine
- Add lemon zest and mix
- If you want to use cocoa, then add on 1/4 of mixture.
- Add the mixture in the tray, greased with butter and flour.
- Add on top cacao mixture
- Bake at 180’C – 45′
